Hi, I’m Jamie.
I qualified as a driving instructor in 2012 and started OOOSH! to give learners lessons that are friendly, good value and get them through their test safely.
Our first instructor joined in 2014, and we’ve grown into a team of instructors across Lancashire, Merseyside, Cheshire, the Wirral and Greater Manchester. I also built DriveBox, an app that connects learners with their instructor.

Can I book my lessons in an app?
Yes. DriveBox Connect is our free app for booking lessons with your OOOSH! instructor, paying for them and tracking your progress. It’s free on the App Store for iPhone now, and coming soon to Android. On Android, or prefer not to use an app? Book with our form or text or WhatsApp us.
How many lessons will I need?
Everyone learns at a different pace. Your instructor can give you an assessment lesson and tell you roughly how many hours you’ll need to reach test standard.
Do you teach in automatic cars?
Yes. Automatic lessons are available in many of our areas, including Southport, Liverpool, Preston, Chorley, Ormskirk, Chester and Wigan. They’re the same price as manual.
Can you pick me up from home, college or work?
Yes. Your instructor can pick you up and drop you off at home, college or work.
I haven’t passed my theory test yet. Can I still start?
Yes. We give you free online theory test practice, and your instructor can help with theory during your lessons.
What happens on test day?
You’ll need to book at least 2.5 hours with your instructor on test day, and you’ll take your test in the car you’ve been learning in.
What’s the best way to get in touch?
Fill in our form, message us on Facebook or Instagram, or text or WhatsApp 07783 451917. We’re often out teaching, so messages are the quickest way to reach us.
